As part of your thorough and systematic health assessment with Dr Lloyd, all the information below will be considered for you (this is not an exhaustive list). Dr Lloyd reassures you that relevant, evidence-based, and appropriate tests and treatment will be offered and always whilst acting in your best interest.

  • Thorough personal and family history collection

    *Cardio-pulmonary Exercise Testing including VO2 Max analysis

    Sleep apnoea screening and sleep study referral where appropriate

Do you want to become the Lean MAN? Being overweight increases your risk of Cardiovascular disease, Cancer, Musculoskeletal disorders, Sleep disorders and many other health concerns. The WHOLEMAN focusses on assessment and management of your weight and metabolism with a priority on reducing your risk of further health issues.

What if you’re a WorkMAN? Has an issue been raised at your latest Medical Assessment at work? Do you need to address a specific area to be able to continue or return to work? We will attempt to address your issues promptly and thoroughly so that they do not cause longer term worries for you.

Work closely as part of a successful team that may include your specialist, dietitian, personal trainer, physio or any other healthcare provider with the Co-MAN. They may have recognised a problem that they themselves may not be able to manage. They can refer you to MAN Health to ensure your care is continued beyond theirs and for any issues to be addressed. We will ensure you are monitored and managed thoroughly and in close liaison with your Specialist and Allied Health Practitioner. They can outline future goals and treatments and we will ensure we work closely together to meet these.

You may be MAN-down…us men generally struggle with discussing our feelings, mood, worries and stresses. At MAN Health Clinic, Dr Lloyd creates an easy-going and understanding environment for you to address those difficult-to-talk-about subjects alongside all your other healthcare concerns.

Services not offered by man health

  • We are unable to provide services to individuals who were assigned female biologically at birth. Transition medicine is a specialty within itself and requires care and expertise beyond our scope of practice. MAN Health Clinic can advise on appropriate specialists to meet these needs.

  • We do not provide services to males under the age 18.

  • Management of acute and emergency medical and mental health issues.

  • Dressings, dressing changes, wound care, wound reviews.

  • Addiction medicine, opiate withdrawal therapy, alcohol detox therapy.

  • Skin checks, skin lesion surveillance, skin lesion removal, minor surgery.

  • Gender affirming hormone therapy.

  • PrEP and anti-retroviral therapy.

  • Work Cover, Centrelink and Motor-vehicle accident claim certificates. Dept of Transport Medical Assessments will be conducted on a case-by-case basis with patients advised to contact MAN Health prior to booking.
